• WHY MCT OIL IS SAFE - MCT (medium chain triglyceride) oil is made by distilling coconuts to remove the longer chain fatty acids - which feed the Malassezia - while harnessing caprylic (C8) and capric (C10) acid, which the Malassezia can’t use as fuel. Some MCT oils still contain lauric acid (C12) which will feed the Malassezia. Ours is always Malassezia Safe.
